Family fun night on Thursday will be hosted by the Boise Hawks at Memorial Stadium. Bring your family for a night of fantastic barbeque (with two hosted beverages and

The 2010 IPAA Winter Conference will be held at The Grove Hotel. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Boise, Idaho. Prosecuting Drug Cases -- September 20-21, 2010
The IPAA is offering a two-day "Prosecuting Drug Cases" taught by Richard Wintory. The course is scheduled for September 20th and 21st at the Homewood Suites in Boise, which is the same week as the Idaho Judicial Conference. This course is designed to prepare prosecutors and police to become more effective partners in investigating and prosecuting drug trafficking organizations, gangs and high rate drug offenders.
Prerequisites:
Attendees should be familiar with their jurisdiction’s drug statues (all attendees), evidentiary and procedural rules relevant to every aspect of prosecuting drug cases (prosecutors). Prosecutor’s attending should be responsible for and authorized to:
· Advise and interact with law enforcement agencies investigating the cases the attendees are prosecuting
· Decide or revise whether and which charges should be prosecuted
· Determine whether and what plea bargains should be made and to negotiate their cases, even if within guidelines
· Try their cases, win, lose or draw
Registration:
Registration will be limited to prosecutors and the officer(s) they work most closely with. This is a team approach course. Registration will open June 14th.
